Fusion Cafe
Fusion youth cafe is a drop in service available to all youths within SWWFRC’s catchment area. Located in the South West Wexford Family Resource Centre, The cafe provides a safe place for youths to meet with friends, participate in workshops and relax.
Fusion is open to anyone in 5th class and upwards every Wednesday from 3 -6pm . It is open to 1st years and upwards every Friday, from 7-9:30pm. It also provides a bus for those who need a lift too or from the youth cafe for free of charge.
Admission is Free, as are the activities on offer within the cafe. These include:
- Free Wifi
- PS4
- Netflix
- Table Tennis
- Pool
- Arts and Crafts
- Karaoke
Fusion also contains a tuck shop where youths can purchase things like cheese toasties, hot chocolate and sweets at low prices.
Events
Since reopening in March, Fusion has held a number of workshops including graffiti art painting and healthy eating workshops, both of which were a great success and enjoyed by all.
We are currently in the process of organising a health and wellbeing event in collaboration with the Epona Dawn Fund. This will take place in the coming weeks and is aimed at encouraging positive mental health among young people aged 16-21.
