What’s on this week!

Covid Level 5
As we welcome the level 5 restrictions into our lives, here at SWWFRC we have spent the last few days considering some changes to the ways we can support you & yours.

Under the new restrictions we have to minimise the number of people coming into the Centre & our community. 😷

But, we are still here; at the end of the phone or an email to support you as best we can🙏😊

Please contact us, whether it’s for information, guidance, an appointment, a listening ear or a chat, we are here.

🌾We all know it won't be easy and that we need to work together to ensure we stay safe. 🌱
Our doors are still open for essential services including:
• Childcare Services
• Counselling services
• QQI Online courses
• Printing, Photocopying and secretarial services to job seekers, people working remotely or students.
• Food Cloud Service
• 1-1 online IT supports
• Welfare rights and Information service
• 1-1 family support

Watch out for future posts as we extend or restrict our services based on public health guidelines .

The Book Club

The Ramsgrange Book Club 2014

The book club continues to meet once a month on the third Wednesday of every month (Or as close to could be 4th Wednesday) here in the centre. The group has 14 members, who not only enjoy the meeting of the book club but also the social outings that are organised by the book club at Christmas and during the summer.

This year we enjoyed reading some wonderful books including Michael Hardings Starring at lakes, The Ballad of Mo & G by Billy Keane and we read both of JK Rowlings foray into “Adult Literature” writing under the Pseudo name Robert Galbraith The Cuckoos Calling and The Silkworm.  We read a charming little story called A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen, we also read Sue Monk Kidds new book The Invention of Wings and the Sealed Letter by Man Booker Nominated Emma Donohue and we finished of the year with The Paying Guests by Sarah Waters. For a future outing we are planning to attend the Cinema to see “Brooklyn” which was a book that we have read and enjoyed by our very own Wexford man Colm Tobin and filmed in the Model County

Please contact Cathy Dowling on 087 2355478 or cathydowling@ovi.com for membership details or more information
