Plant Sale

The Ramsgrange Horticultural Group are holding a plant sale on Friday 31st May, from 10am until 1pm.  The sale will take place at their tunnel, beside the South West Wexford Family Resource Centre -Y34 DP26. Lots of lovely plants for sale, and all are welcome.

Over 50’s Fitness Classes

Over 50’s fitness classes continue at South West Wexford Family Resource Centre on Thursdays, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. These classes are very enjoyable and also have the benefit of helping build strength and encouraging greater mobility. A four-week block is €45 or pay as you go €12 per session.  To book please contact Stella on  089 2439442

Campile Hall Concert

Michael English and guest artist Sandy Kelly will be appearing in concert in Campile Hall on Sunday July 7th at 8pm. For tickets phone 087 2183300 

St James GAA 

Don’t forget the annual Barn Dance which will take place on Saturday, 1st June (Bank Holiday weekend) at Nolan’s. Clonsharragh. Music provided by Trilogy with DJ to follow. Tickets cost €10.00 and there will be courtesy buses available to take you home.

Ramsgrange Tidy Towns Development Group

Congratulations to Karen Ryan, who was last week’s winner of Split the Pot. Envelopes available in Floods Centre so please support when you can.  All money raised is used to keep our village looking good.

Volunteers needed.

Have you a few hours to spare each week?  If so, would you consider helping to keep our beautiful parish church, St. James in Ramsgrange, clean and tidy.  If so, please phone the Parish Office on 051 389148. Volunteers are always welcome, and remember, many hands make light work!!

Fethard on Sea Country Market

Our next Country Market will be on Saturday 1st June, from10.30am to 12pm.  Located in the lovely St Mary’s Hall, Fethard on Sea, the Market will then continue every Saturday for the months of June, July and August.  We offer a wide range of goods, including baking (sweet and savoury), crafts, jams and chutneys, eggs, handmade chocolate, plants and vegetables.  Do drop in and be part of this lovely community event.

Tintern Trails Walk

The next First Sunday walk will be on Sunday 2nd June.  Meet up is at the carpark of the Vine Cottage Pub, Saltmills, at 11am.  This will be a moderate level walk through the beautiful Tintern woodlands.  Dogs are welcome, but kept on leads, please.

Trip to Knock

There will be a one-day coach trip to Knock Shrine on Sunday July 7th to mark Ferns Diocesan Day. Pick-up points Wellingtonbridge, Ramsgrange, Campile, and New Ross

Ramsgrange Active Retirement Group

The next monthly meeting will be held on Monday June 10th in South West Wexford Family Resource Centre at 2.00pm.  There will be Cinema Trip to the ARC Wexford, to see “That They May Face the Rising Sun”.  Check WhatsApp for day and date – lunch in the Farmers Kitchen beforehand.  There are still some places available on Wednesday 12th June for the guided tour of Avondale House, Co Wicklow and a tree top walk.  The cost for this trip is €30. Contact Mary B on 087 2073966 for details. On Wednesday 10th July we will visit Altamont Gardens Co Carlow, with a stop at Kilcannon Garden Centre,  for tea and scones. The cost is €25, contact Ann McCormack on 087 3371344 for details.  In August we will have a Home event, with a free picnic in Kennedy Park.  More details about this later. On Wednesday September 11th we have organised a  Mystery Tour, cost €40. Contact Alexia on 087 9462160, if you would like to book a place. New members are always welcome.
