Ramsgrange Church Masses

Please take note the times for the Masses in Ramsgrange Church over the Christmas period.  There will be two Vigil Masses on Christmas Eve, at 6pm and 8pm.  Christmas Day Masses are at 8.30am and 10.30am.  Mass on St Stephen’s day is at 10.30am and Masses all Christmas week will also be at 10.30am.

There will be a Christmas Reconciliation Service in Duncannon Church on Wednesday21st December at 7pm

45 Card Games

Don’t forget 45 Card Games are run every Friday night in The King’s Bay Inn, starting at 9pm.

Scoil Naomh Úna  Enrolment  2023 / 2024

If you wish to enrol your child in Scoil Naomh Úna, for the academic year 2023/2024, Enrolment Form may be collected from the school from December 5th 2022 until February 13th 2023. The school can be contacted by email: shielbagganns.ias@gmail.com or by telephone 086 0210824.  If you would like to visit the school or speak to the Principal, Kevin Nimmo, please contact the school to make an appointment.

RNLI  Coffee morning

There will be a Coffee morning in aid of Fethard RNLI on Sunday 11th December, in St Mary’s Hall, Fethard.  Doors will be open from 10am to 1pm so please come along to support this great cause.

Ramsgrange Active Retirement Group

Remember our Christmas party is in Byrnes in Ballyhack on December 12th from 2 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. with Mick Comerford playing music for us. Cost to members is €15. Since the car parking in Ballyhack is limited, there will be a number of cars ferrying members from the car park at Arthurstown to Ballyhack from about 1pm. We have been very lucky to have been given some lovely raffle prizes by local businesses, so hopefully, you might win something nice. This is currently fully booked, Kelly has a waiting list if anyone decides to cancel. News from Mary B about our annual holiday in 2023, it will be in Kenmare, Co. Kerry from 1 – 5 May. The cost per person sharing is €450 and is €570 for a single room. Deposits to secure your booking must be in by March 6th and the final payment by April 3rd. As part of the trip there is an opportunity to have a Jaunting Car ride in Killarney for €10 to be paid by February if you are interested. Contact Mary B for more information on 0872073966. We will have our AGM on the 9th of January 2023 in the South West Wexford Family Resource Centre at 2.00pm. All members and prospective new members are asked to attend.

Hook Sub Aqua Club

Ever wondered what it would be like to take a deep sea dive? Our Club are holding a number of  “try a dive” nights in the Apex Pool New Ross in December. If anybody would like to try Scuba diving or know somebody who might be interested, please get in contact with the Club on Facebook, Instagram or by calling 0879292706  or 0879549849

Dates are: Sat 3rd of December and Sat 10th of December from 6.30pm until 7.30pm

Christmas Lights Road Run

The Christmas Lights Road Run returns on Sunday, 11th December, starting in Campile at 5pm. The route continues through Dunmain, Ballycullane, Fethard-on-Sea, Ramsgrange and Arthurstown. Food will be served in The Kings Bay Inn, Arthurstown. Proceeds from the run will be donated to St. Louis Day Care Centre, Ramsgrange. What a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas.

Christmas Craft Fair

A Christmas Craft Fair is being hosted in Campile Hall Y34 DT10, on Sunday, 11th December from 10am – 4pm. Loads of beautiful local crafts available so why not come along pick up a present or two for loved ones.

Social Dancing

A social dance will be held on Tuesday 27th of December in Clongeen Hall. Music is by Ted & Colm Barry, and admission is €10. Dancing and music from 9-11.30. All are welcome so put on your dancing shoes and come along.

Trad Session

The Sportsman’s Inn, Ramsgrange will host Trad Sessions every Friday night. We also have live Music every Saturday night from 9.30 till late. A bus will be available to drop people home afterwards.
