Ramsgrange  Village Competition

South West Wexford Family Resource Centre are running a free bird watch competition.  We have 10 free bird box nesting packs to give away on a first come, first served basis.  All you need to do is to decorate the bird box included in the pack, feed the birds that visit your garden, record how many different species you can spot, and take photos or a video of your bird box and the visiting birds. With your permission we will then post your pictures on our Facebook page and the entry with the most likes will win some lovely chocolates, sponsored by Floods, Centra, Ramsgrange.  If you would like to entre please contact Emma on 087 3605595.

 

Enrolments for September 2021

Ramsgrange Central NS is now taking enrolments for September 2021. Enrolment forms are available in the school, or on the school website www.ramsgrangens.com or by contacting Karen in the office on 051-389363 or ramsgrangens@hotmail.com  We are a three teacher school situated in the heart of Ramsgrange Village.  Our school motto is “Educating for Enrichment and Enjoyment” and we aim to promote a positive learning environment with happy children.

 

 

Online Courses in Ramsgrange

We are still taking names for our QQI accredited online courses in South West Wexford FRC, Ramsgrange with courses in Early Childhood Care and Education, Business Administration and Employment Skills due to commence over the coming weeks.

Classes take place online one night a week from 6.30pm-9.30pm. If you are in receipt of a Social Welfare payment you should contact your local Intreo/DEASP office as you may be eligible for funding towards your course. Digital Wellbeing Champion

Are you living with a Long-Term Health Condition? Do you need help to access online information or support? For example: Living well, diabetes education, stroke support groups, COPD and asthma supports, exercise supports, heart failure support groups. Our childcare staff are delivering essential services to vulnerable children and children of essential workers during this pandemic. We want them to be protected while they are at work. Community Notes

We are always delighted to include information about upcoming events or other items of interest to the community but please note that any items for inclusion in the Ramsgrange Community Notes should be with the correspondent by the previous Thursday night at 9pm at the latest.  For further information please email reception@swwfrc.ie

 

St Louis Day Care Centre

The staff of St Louis Day Care Centre continue to work behind closed doors.  We are unable to open as yet in light of the current conditions with Covid-19.  However, we are keeping in close contact with our clients and assisting when we can. 

With winter fast approaching, perhaps you might like to avail of some of our services:  Meals delivered 5 days a week to include the weekends.  Home Baking by order, laundry and assistance with showering, a Nurse available to collect prescriptions and give advice.  If we can be of help to anyone in our Community please contact us.   The areas we cover are Ramsgrange, Campile, Ballycullane, Gusserane, Horeswood, Fethard on Sea, Templetown. Dinners can be ordered by 10.00am each day, Monday to Friday

We will be holding a Christmas Bakery Fair on Saturday 12th of December 2020 between 9.30am-12.30pm in the Day Care Centre. All Covid restrictions will be in place and social distancing will be in line with Government guidelines.

Ramsgrange Church Online

Ramsgrange parish church services can now be followed online on their Facebook page.  A Mass will go out live every Sunday morning at 10.30 so please join us on-line if you can.

 

South West Wexford Family Resource Centre

The Centre remains open during the current Level 5 Covid restrictions. We continue to provide printing, photocopying and other secretarial services.  Please contact reception@swwfrc.ie or phone 051 389418 if we can help you in any way.

Counselling services will continue to be available via telephone or Zoom. We are here to help so please reach out if you if you need support or if you feel you would benefit from this confidential service. Getting Citizens Online at SWWFRC

We are delighted to announce that we are now in a position to safely re-commence our Getting Citizen’s On-line basic computer programme. The main objective of this initiative is to provide basic digital skills for those who have never used a computer before, with a goal of enabling the students to use computer programs such as MS Word, to be able to navigate the World Wide Web, to search for information and to send emails.  Classes are kept to low numbers to ensure the safety and progress of all the participants. This training is available for FREE and if you would like any further information or would like to participate in our next class please contact Darren or Sheila on 051-389418.
